WHAT IS PROFHILO?
Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment formulated to improve hydration and skin quality. Often described as an ‘injectable moisturiser’, it can help skin feel smoother, firmer and more supple.
Its formulation spreads through the treated tissue, supporting a gradual improvement in skin quality. Treatment is individually planned around your skin, concerns and the areas you would like to improve.

Every consultation and treatment is personally undertaken by Dr Knight, providing continuity from initial clinical assessment through to treatment, written aftercare and follow-up review.

Profhilo can be considered for the face, neck, décolletage, hands and selected body areas where improved hydration and skin quality are priorities.
Dr Knight also assesses concerns such as fine lines around the mouth and crepey skin on the arms, abdomen or around the knees. The product, treatment volume and course will be selected according to the area and your individual needs.
PROFHILO®
Profhilo® treatment begins with a recommended initial course of two or three treatments, spaced approximately four weeks apart. The recommended course and treatment volume will be personalised following consultation and clinical assessment.

COMBINATION-AREA INITIAL COURSES
Where 4ml or 6ml is required at each appointment, the course will be planned according to the combination of areas and number of treatments recommended. The complete course price will be confirmed in your personalised treatment plan before treatment begins.
MAINTENANCE FOLLOWING AN INITIAL COURSE
The effects of Profhilo® develop cumulatively across the initial course. Following completion, maintenance treatment is recommended approximately every three months to help sustain the benefits and build upon the improvements achieved.

WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID?
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the skin and other tissues. It attracts and retains water, helping maintain skin hydration and supporting its soft, smooth appearance. Profhilo combines different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid in a formulation developed to improve hydration and support skin firmness and elasticity.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROFHILO & DERMAL FILLERS?
Profhilo and dermal fillers have different roles in a personalised rejuvenation plan. Profhilo focuses on skin quality, helping improve hydration, firmness and elasticity, with gradual changes in texture and the appearance of fine lines. Dermal fillers are used more selectively to restore volume or enhance definition in particular areas.
Dr Knight will assess your concerns and explain which approach, or combination of treatments, is most appropriate for the improvements you hope to achieve.

WHERE IS PROFHILO INJECTED?

CAN MORE THAN ONE AREA BE TREATED WITH PROFHILO IN ONE SESSION?
Yes. Where appropriate, more than one area can be treated at the same appointment, for example, the face and neck to support a balanced improvement in skin quality.
Dr Knight will assess each area and create a personalised plan, explaining the recommended treatment volume, course, costs and relevant risks so you can make an informed decision.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS FOLLOWING PROFHILO TREATMENT?
Some patients notice improved hydration during the weeks following their first treatment. Improvements in firmness, elasticity and overall skin quality develop more gradually as the course progresses.
Your progress will be reviewed approximately four weeks after completing the initial course, allowing Dr Knight to assess your response and plan ongoing care to help maintain the improvements achieved.
